Kempsey District Silver Band - HOME
The Kempsey District Silver Band has been established since 8 February 1886. It began as the Kempsey Brass Band, then the Kempsey Silver Band in 1921 and then changed its name to the Kempsey District Silver Band in 1973, to acknowledge the regional nature of its services to the community.
The Senior Band participates in a number of play-outs during the year – from official events such as Australia Day and Anzac Day marches, concerts, community festivals, openings, fetes, commemorations and annual community carols at the Racecourse, South West Rocks Gaol and aged care facilities.
Download a playing application and email us if you would like the Kempsey District Silver Band to play at your next function.
